On Wednesday, May 20th, the world celebrated World Bee Day, a global initiative dedicated to raising awareness about the critical role bees play in sustaining our ecosystems and securing global food systems.
At our Normanton office, we are proud to be doing our part. Our site is uniquely located on a B-Line, which is part of an essential national network of "insect pathways" designed to help pollinators travel safely across the country.
To support this vital network, our team has been busy:
- Planting wildflowers to provide a rich, natural food source for local pollinators.
- Creating a custom bug house to offer a safe shelter and nesting space for various insect species.
These initiatives remind us that small, local changes can make a massive difference when it comes to protecting biodiversity and supporting the wildlife right on our doorstep.
